I spent many hours on Saturday cleaning cars. Within the hour, my car was covered in so much bird poo that you couldn’t tell I had done anything at all. Ugh.

I was chatting with a Passat tdi SEL owner the other day. I mentioned he might be getting a $5k check soon, and that he needs to take the 2-hour drive to APR headquarters for a chip as soon as that happens. We don't have inspections, so that's my advice for now...

Not bad advice.

I still haven’t spent my $500 that I can only use at the dealer. Thinking of stocking up on a shitload wipers. I briefly thought about getting a roof rack, but then I’d have to buy stuff to put on said roof rack.

Wait, putting stuff on a roof rack? I almost never see that. You’re supposed to just drive around looking cool, but not actually being cool. It’s the whole reason that SUVs and Crossovers took hold of the market. Why can't you get in on the action?!

I haven’t spent my $500 dealer card either but I have to get my safety inspection done before I have the option to thing about getting rid of it so it may end up paying for tires or brakes or whatever.

I’ve decided that the car (GSW TDI SEL) doesn’t really fit my cargo capacity needs, so I will be taking the buyback and acquiring beater truck/SUV and a sporty car.
